The founder's vision, coming from a background of Director of Materials for the Truck and Trailer Axle division of Rockwell International, was to provide the benefits of scale evidenced at this fortune 500 company, to the smaller manufacturers so as to allow them to compete on an even basis with the larger firms.
Since its inception Vimich was created with the intent of representing the Manufacturers interest and not those of the carriers as is so common in the industry.
